Fitzroy After Dark
A fast, loud bluffing game for 4–10 players. Rounds run about 20 minutes and every card references a real Gertrude Street haunt.

Daxemori designs original tabletop games and hosts sold-out game nights on Gertrude Street. Grab a booth, pick a box off the wall, and let us teach the rules.
Founded above a paint shop in Fitzroy in 2016, Daxemori builds games that get strangers laughing within ten minutes. Every title is playtested for months in our café before it ever hits a shelf, and every game night is hosted by a real person who actually knows the rules.
A Daxemori host sets up, teaches the rules in under ten minutes and checks in between rounds so nobody is left reading the manual.
From five-minute fillers to four-hour campaigns, browse the wall, scan the shelf tags for player count, and swap games as often as you like.
Birthdays, work socials and hens nights with reserved booths, a curated game shortlist and grazing boards from the Gertrude Street kitchen.
Monthly maker sessions where our designers walk you through prototyping, balancing and print-and-play for your own tabletop ideas.

Chaotic route-drawing across a hand-illustrated Melbourne tram map. Easy to teach, impossible to play quietly.
We booked a booth for my partner’s birthday and the host had us belly-laughing over Fitzroy After Dark in minutes. Genuinely the easiest party I’ve ever thrown.
I came in on a solo Tuesday, got taught Brickworks by a host who clearly loved it, and ended up buying a copy on the way out. Brilliant spot.
Our whole design team did the Sunday workshop. Walking through prototyping our own game with the Daxemori crew was the best off-site we’ve done.
